Parents are welcome to ride along with student drivers!!
If you have a driver's license or your
learner's permit, then we can begin private driving lessons. If you don't
have a Maine license or permit, you will need one before you can start your
driving lessons. To obtain your learner's permit, you will need to pass
the Bureau of Motor Vehicles' written test and eye test. If you need help

You may pick up the newest edition of
the State of Maine Study Guide and Handbook. It is available free
of charge at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. You can also get audio cassettes
of this handbook through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Augusta at no charge.
After receiving the study guide, you can
take the written test on your own at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Once
you have the learner's permit, you are ready to start your driving with one of
our instructors. We charge $45.00 for a one-hour lesson.
